The owners/staff are extremely kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They allowed me to check in early and even let me use the onsen in the afternoon after checkout.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. The onsen experience was incredible! Very accommodating and great privacy. Guest rooms were spacious and warm.

Featuring free property-wide WiFi, a spa centre and a seasonal outdoor pool, Matsushima Ichinobo offers accommodation in Matsushima. Everything is amazing. It is expensive, but you get what you pay. I recommend staying for at least 2 nights. I stayed for only one night, and I think I could have enjoyed more (like the gardens and the free rental bike service) if I had more time. Having said that,I thoroughly enjoyed my bedroom, the lounge, restaurant, the baths. The free all you can eat ice cream in the lounge was also a positive surprise.

Tagoto features a hot public bath, Japanese-style and Western rooms and Japanese cuisine, a 5-minute drive from Aizu Wakamatsu Station. - Very charming ryokan conveniently situated within walking distance from the JR Nanokamachi station and in close proximity to attractions like the Noguchi Hideyo Seishun Street and the Suehiro Sake Brewery. - The meals (dinner and breakfast) were the highlight of my stay. Having told the staff in advance that I had food allergies, they went above and beyond to servemeals for me that were safe for me to eat but also very delicious. The variety of dishes served was impressive. The staff also offered to create onigiri (rice balls) out of my unfinished breakfast. - The staff were very warm and accommodating and their interactions with guests contributed to the ryokan's very homely atmosphere. As a thoughtful gesture they gave me an akabeko keychain upon checkout as a souvenir - The private hinoki bath was a delight (note: you have to book it in advance during check-in) - The futon in my room was exceptionally fluffy and I slept really well

Surrounded by sacred mountains and untouched nature, Tamonkan is housed in a historic Japanese-style building. Complimentary tea and snacks are served to welcome guests. Beautiful building, lovely hosts, delicious food. I would love to visit the area again and stay at Tamonkan.

Hotel Miyamaso Takamiya se nahaja 10 min hoje od gondole Zao Sky Cable in se ponaša z 9 kadmi z naravno vodo iz vrelca. Lesena zgradba odseva tradicionalni slog japonskih gostišč. Excellent food, 4 onsen on property. Spacious rooms.

Located a 7-minute walk from Gosho Lake, Shikitei Morioka TsunagiOnsen offers free WiFi and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths. JR Morioka Train Station is a 25-minute drive from the property. breakfast was amazing service amazing everything amazing i forgot to specify the fact that i don’t eat pork and i’m sorry for wasting a dish 😔

Nastanitev Yasuragino Yado -Iyashino Yu- se nahaja v mestu Kitakami, 42 km od znamenitosti tempelj Chusonji, in ponuja brezplačen WiFi ter brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. I didn't take the breakfast, so I can't comment on it. Location was good for me since I wanted to walk everyday.

Nastanitev Yukemuri no Yado Inazumi Onsen nudi nastanitvene enote v mestu Yuzawa. Ryokan s 4 zvezdicami nudi pogled na gore, uporabljate pa lahko tudi kopel v termalnem vrelcu. The surroundings, cleanliness, service, facilities and food.

Nastanitev Oyado Morinone je v mestu Kaminoyama, 17 km od znamenitosti smučarsko letovišče Zao Hotsprings in 19 min hoje od znamenitosti železniška postaja Kaminoyama-Onsen, ter nudi vrt, brezplačen... This was the most elegant and restful stay of my life. Food is incredible - deserves a bib gourmand! Rooms are large and comfortable with a view. Onsen is lovely. The best is the free alcohol and hot drink service in the evenings around the fireplace. Definitely stay here if you can! It’s once in a lifetime type stuff
