Offering a garden and garden view, Maison Simonenia is situated in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, 11 km from Baigorry Church and 40 km from Epherra Golf Course. Lovely small place in the middle of the historic centre of this beautiful town. The breakfast was very nice with fresh bread and croissants. The hostess ever so friendly and helpful with good advise before our camino-treck starting the next day.

Featuring a shared lounge, Gîte BIDEAN is located in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in the Aquitaine region, 11 km from Baigorry Church and 40 km from Epherra Golf Course. Food was amazing - we really enjoyed the pilgrims dinner where we could meet and chat with others who were also about to embark on the Camino. Beds were comfortable and private. It was the perfect place to get us in the right mood for starting our journey to Santiago :)

Set in Padirac and only 14 km from Monkey Forest, Le domaine du Quercy offers accommodation with pool views, free WiFi and free private parking. The rooms were really clean, quirky, you could see a lot of planning and imagination was used to reconvert the barn. The latest technology was used with great effect.

Ted Surf House, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Capbreton, 200 metres from Estacade, 200 metres from Centrale Beach, as well as 500 metres from Prevent Beach. The host was very welcoming. We immediately felt at home and they even had a Jacuzzi! It`s in a very close walking distance to a fun surf spot and located in the middle of several surf spots. Breakfast was simple but so good! We could have fresh pressed orange juice. Thank you for letting us stay here!

Located just 37 km from Dax Train Station, Domaine Labouroume offers accommodation in Salies-de-Béarn with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a concierge service. Charm-full, authentic and peaceful.

Located within 43 km of Stone Bridge and 44 km of Great Bell Bordeaux in Loupiac-de-Cadillac, Maison circé provides accommodation with seating area. Mostly the host. Best for our entire 2 months on the road. If we had a few days more, we might have to adopt them as family.

Set within 50 km of Ansot Park and 11 km of Baigorry Church, Villa Harriet offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Uhart-Cize. It’s an old building back into 1920s, with only 6 rooms and restaurant. I like its quietness and the receptionist is so friendly and tried to make me a room given on my early arrival in the morning. I enjoyed a lot of the room with the windows opening to the yard, the swimming pool. It’s convenient to start Camino from the hotel, easy to get on the walking track. It’s a pity that the restaurant isn’t opening for an exceptional reason during my stay however it leaves me an opportunity to revisit it some other day.
