Really nice hostel. The host couldn’t have been nicer and repeatedly went out of her way to help us and other guests. She also provided free coffee, water l, bananas, Nutella, peanut butter and bread in the mornings and arranged a lift for us to get to the pier when we were leaving free of charge.

I extended my stay multiple times here because I didn't want to leave. The location is quiet and serene. Crickets at night, birds in the morning. The glass window/wall at the bed is amazing and you wake up surrounded by nature (but with a/c and no mosquitoes in your bed). Shower gets hot, but you rarely want the hot water. Hammock in the trees with string lights, looking up at the stars with crickets chirping is exactly the quiet space I wanted to get some work and climbing in. Breakfast and smoothies were delicious, bathrooms are super clean, cafe and pool table in the lobby area, the indoor gym is great. ***Tony, the climbing guide, is so wonderful. So friendly, very knowledgeable about actually teaching you how to climb and improving your skills whether you're brand new or have done some climbing in the past. I cannot recommend this place enough, and absolutely recommend booking a guided climbing trip!

I spent in Chandra very peacefull 3 weeks. Very clean, you can ask the amazing Lady Sanda from the reception to clean your room whenever is needed. You deffinately will need a scooter, but its a perfect place if you dont want to be in a party area. I was in the room only with the fan, and it was totally fine.

Perfect hostel for backpackers or anyone who wants to meet new people!

Close to really nice beaches, Tanote Beach was my fav. The staff is fantastic and you can have fun nights playing Deisha-Thai-Pool, getting professional bamboo tattoos and have good&cheap cocktails or some weed (or both :D)!! The View is epic, you can see the whole Island and shouldn’t miss it. It’s often booked out (book early!) so there are always many people. Will definitely come back some day!
