We loved the room —clean room, comfortable bed and clean beddings, AC, curtains for privacy. Staffs were very attentive and helpful, fully equipped kitchen, had everything we needed for our stay.

Located in Montevideo, MedioMundo Hostel offers comfortable rooms with free WiFi access. The property is 50 metres from Rodo Square and 300 metres from the coast. Overall very enjoyable stay, location is great (not far from the beach and from the bus terminal). We booked 2 private rooms with shared bathrooms - there were 3 bathrooms available in the hostel, and I've always found them clean and in a great condition. Even with our room on the ground floor it didn't get noisy at night. Hostel stuff was helpful, kitchen very well equipped, and breakfast delicious (only 5 USD extra). We enjoyed hanging out in the common areas, having a glass of wine, reading etc. Great value for money!

Since April 1st we moved to a new, more modern, 6-story building located in the Old City, close to the main tourist attractions of the city. Lovely hostel, everyone are so nice and happy. I stay in a shared room and it was super clean and bigger, my bed was super comfy and has privacy. Nicolle treats me super nice! :)

With large spaces a full kitchen with refrigerators, and freezers, lockers,community room, with free coffee, an amazing rooftop with recliners, a barbecue, a grill and beautiful views of the port. Conveniently located in Ciudad Vieja, the old city, the original settlement, it offers plenty of places to walk, ride a bike, and historic museums and monuments, also many nearby stores, convenient stores and parking lots. It offers the casual traveler, the tourist or digital nomads a place to stay at affordable prices.
