I must admit that, having made a booking for a stay at Villa Alma, I ended up being forced to cancel it at the last minute for unforeseen reasons. Under the reservation terms, I would still be required to bear a full charge - but the utterly courteous and understanding manner in which the property handled my request to waive that charge is by itself deserving of all praise. I will most certainly try to come and visit at a later date and will recommend the property to other people as well.

This hotel is housed in a medieval, 13th-century building, only 100 metres from Visby Cathedral. Free WiFi is offered. First thing I have to mention were our hosts, who were great! Very kind and always there to meet any of our requests and seemed like nice people all-around :) Breakfast was also really good, featuring a lot of delicious home-made and locally-sourced produce.

Familyroom for 4 was great with two kids. It looked better inside than house outside. House needs a bit paint. Breakfast had varaus choises and was fresh. Pool and Toftsa beach nearby were brilliant. Location in Gotland was super.

Our room was was delightful. The outdoor seating for breakfast was so lovely. They have a playroom for little kids, a slide and a tree swing! It is located right next to the botanical garden and a very short walk to the sea.

Spiaggia di Gothem bellissima, stuga molto funzionale e comoda. Buon bazar con un po' di tutto, bar ristorante carino con musica dal vivo un giorno. Piccoli parco giochi divertenti per i bambini. Ben pulito. Molto cortesi e cordiali i ragazzi alla reception.

La posizione è perfetta, in pieno centro, in una casa storica, con la comodità di avere un angolo cucina così da poter gestire i pasti in una località giustamente molto turistica. Forse un pochino tanto polverosa e qualche lampadina bruciata. Incomprensibile il perché la cappa della cucina non si potesse spegnere, ma in realtà aiuta a creare un rumore costante che copre un pochino i turisti che durante la notte possono passare per le strade parlando ad alta voce.

Everything about this place was very good. You can't expect anything more. The only drawback was it was away from Visby and you need to drive for 30 min. But I don't mind that when I get all other good stuff..

Lovely cabin on the beach, very well equipped with huge terrace, double bed, wardrobes, kitchen, bathroom. The heart of Slite is just 10 minutes walk.

The breakfast is great, the beds very comfortable, the room has a great atmosphere with a view over the harbour and the location is just perfect. The final thing to point out is that the staff is excellent. One person to mention especially is Sandra in the reception who is a real gem and very professional while still being personal and social.

Cosy and clean cottages. The shared shower / bathroom and services houses were clean and tidy. Located by the beach, about 20min walk from Visy. Enjoyed my stay very much!
