Beautiful property situated in a stunning area. The Onsen was very relaxing and clean. The shared area was well equipped and very comfortable. Highly recommend

Boasting rare nigori-yu milky water hot spring baths and , Mount View Hakone offers Japanese-style rooms and Japanese delicacies. The breakfast and dinner was a highlight of my trip, they consisted of a variety of courses selected by the hotel (but they messaged me before my stay to check if there was anything that I wouldn't be able to eat and we're able to work around that) it was a great way to experience a wide variety of different japanese food I mightn't have come across otherwise. Stayed two nights and dinner and breakfast were different both days. Also there was usually something that you got to cook at the table and the staff were very helpful in showing how to do this. When I arrived the girl who checked me in realised that i would be too tall for the size of yukata that they usually left in the room so provided me with a more suitable size before I even had to ask. Set in Hakone, 8.3 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Hakone Gora KARAKU offers accommodation with a sauna, a hot spring bath and a public bath. The hotel is stunning, and the room we had was amazing .. we stayed in the Japanese West wing. The room contained four different pairs of footwear and so many gadgets, sadly more than we could take advantage of. We dressed in traditional garments for meals and enjoyed the hot spring bath. We could not fault the room, the staff or the quality of the exceptional food experience. Everyone was wonderful.

Hot Spring Inn Hakone Suisen offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 4.2 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station and 3.6 km of Kowakudani Station. The interior, amenities and the room itself felt very luxurious. The onsen is great, especially if for first-time enjoyers.

Set in Hakone, Centurion Hakone Bettei offers 4-star accommodation with private balconies. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. We loved the friendly hotel staff, the food and the onsen spa. The whole experience was outstanding.

Boasting a hot tub, Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan is set in Hakone. The 3-star ryokan features mountain views and is 6.2 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The manager was very nice and helpful, the room was clean and the view amazing. Good location, and the onsen is cozy.

Situated in Tokyo, 300 metres from Asakusa Fujiasama Shrine and 7.5 km from the centre, cyashitsu ryokan asakusa features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and an open-air bath. A true unforgettable Japanese experience. Everything was perfect and specially the staff who were beyond any expectations. Would definitely come back.

Situated in Hakone, 8.7 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Suiun provides accommodation with a sauna, a hot spring bath and a public bath. It is a Classical Japanese hotel with private spa. The breakfast is quite amazing for its taste and variety. I would stay with them absolutely when next time I travel to Hakone.

Situated in Tokyo, within 1.5 km of Sensoji Temple and 2.2 km of Tokyo Skytree, Ryokan Nakadaya offers accommodation with a shared lounge. I had a fabulous stay, the owner was so nice and made the experience so wonderful. The rooms are clean and are cleaned daily. Toilets/showers are also kept clean. The showers had strong water pressure. WiFi was really fast. Location is good with a 10 min walk to the train station. I enjoyed the Japanese experience of sleeping in Ryokan. The owner gave many recommendations for Tokyo and also where is the best place for souvenirs rather than touristic locations which I wouldn't have discovered without the local knowledge so I am really thankful for that.
